Many a times we get tired of the Christian
life. We get tired from walking all day, following Christ wherever he goes. That doesn't' mean we don't enjoy it, we just get tired. because we are human. The disciples fell asleep when Christ told them to stay awake and keep watch. They were tired. They didn't stay awake for Christ.  Sometimes we focus on the circumstances and not the substance in which we need to keep going.
Ok. I'll admit it. I've been there. I WAS tired, and I WAS weak, I WAS giving up hope. Until I found out that Jesus Christ is worth staying awake for. He is worth keeping hope. He is worth everything that I have to do to stay up and going. He is worth living for. And the best part is, you don't have to do it on your own. He is right there every step of the way. Like i said before. Don't focus on the circumstance focus on the substance. Jesus Christ is the substance we each need.
When will us Christians ever realize that Jesus Christ is worth living for. He is worth staying awake. He is worth not giving up.
