| It's a New Start {EVERYDAY} |

New year, new me? In some ways yes, in others ways, not so much.
I've been thinking lately about how everyone gets so excited about a new year, because they want to start over. Don't get me wrong, I love the feeling of something new and fresh! But if we really think about it, every day of our lives is a new and fresh start! (that is if we let it be)  How does this work you might ask?? {"For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. Psalm 30:5"} God does get upset with us, but only because He loves us so much He doesn't want to see us hurting. That's why each day God gives us a fresh start, and a new beginning.  He forgives, He forgets and He lets go of the past. His grace lasts forever and in Him we can always find peace and comfort. {"But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. James 4:6"} He forgives and forgives and keeps forgiving us.  He gives grace, grace and more grace each and every day!
So, if God is so forgiving, why does this seem so hard at times? Why do we not always feel fully forgiven?
 Last weekend (the last weekend of December) I was able to go to a youth conference called Xtreme and one of the speakers spoke on this subject a little. { Why is loving God not as easy as it should be? } He said something like this, one of the reasons we make it so hard is because we don't really have the amount of faith that we should. I mean I have faith God will provide the next meal I'm going to eat, but how hard is that?! I can just walk in my kitchen, open the cabinet and see tons of food, so its easy to have faith in that because I can see it, right?? Well having faith that God is going to forgive me and really forget my past, or that God is going to provide a future husband for me, seems to be a whole different story! But why!? It's because I don't have enough faith. I have faith in what is easy, but true faith, is in the things I can't see. The things that only God himself can know.
With this kind of faith we can have a fresh start each and every day! {"This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him there is no darkness at all. 1 John 1:5"} God has never had darkness and He never will. Even our closet friends and family members will fail us at times, but God never will. He is perfect.
 My goal is to have more faith each day. We don't have to wait for a new year to have a new start, or to grow in our faith. We can start tomorrow or even right now!

 {God's commands in our life are not a burden, they are the exact opposite, they are truly a blessing! When we have small faith, and we turn to the world to help us feel forgiven, or accepted, it only brings us pain. Look to the cross and see true love, and true forgiveness. <3 }

Ya'll are probably wondering where the fashion part of this post comes in, well here it is. :D

{ As I said in the post before, I got a few new things for Christmas this year! So here is another one of those! I got this really pretty flowy skirt! Something about a skirt like this just really makes us girls feel like a lady, does it not? Any who, I paired it with a chambray shirt, some navy blue pin stripe tights, my lace top socks and my favorite combat boots!

 { And of course a few of my favorite accessories for this outfit! }

{{ "The closer we get to being who we are meant to be, the Brighter we shine..."}}
Shine Bright ya'll.
