{ O How I Need Thee }

                    

                     

        I need Thee every hour, most gracious Lord;
 No tender voice like Thine can peace afford.

     I need Thee, O I need Thee;
Every hour I need Thee;
 O bless me now, my Savior,
I come to Thee.

      I need Thee every hour, stay Thou nearby;
Temptations lose their power when Thou art nigh.

                 I need Thee every hour, in joy or pain;
Come quickly and abide, or life is in vain.

                  I need Thee every hour; teach me Thy will;
And Thy rich promises in me fulfill.

               I need Thee every hour, most Holy One;
O make me Thine indeed, Thou blessèd Son.

{ I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.  If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

  If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. John 15:5-7 } 

Just yesterday I was struggling, trying to do things in my own strength. And it became very clear to be that I was not going to have a good day at all if I didn't hand over my pride and let God lead me. Sadly, I fought it for almost the whole day, till finally I relized the day was going to be a total waste if I didn't hand things over to my Savior. Wow, what peace and contentment that can bring. Then I sit there feeling stupid, thinking why didn't I do this sooner! 

This happens so much in our lives, there are so many rough days that could be changed into a blessing, if only we just admit "I need thee every hour" because let's be honest, we do need our savior every hour. <3
